1969 Mounties had Jim Bouton on their roster

Jim Bouton was a last cut of the Seattle Pilots thus he was sent to the Vancouver Mounties. He had rented a house in Seattle now he was in need to rent a house in Vancouver. Bouton was able to only find a residence that he had to rent for 6 months. Jim flew off to Hawaii tto join the Mounties to start the season. After the long series verses the Islanders the Pilots recalled Bouton thus he pitched for the Mounties but not in Vancouver.
