Former Canadian Neal Cotts is a Pirate.

Former 2001 Vancouver Canadian lefthander Neal Cotts signed Jan 4 with the Pittsburg Pirates. Cotts had been owned by the Chicago Cubs playing for Iowa but in July 2009 Neal required Tommy John surgery. The Pirates hope Neal will be ready by June as TJ surgery needs 11-13 months of recovery.
