1968 Vancouver Mounties
The 1968 Vancouver Mounties had a group of players who went on to fan as coaches, managers and other baseball positions. The most famous is Tony LaRussa with Dave Duncan on of his coaches, then the brother Rene and Marcel Lachemann have been coaches and managers. The next is Wayne Norton who was the Executive Director of Baseball Bc then the National Baseballl Institute and now as a scout. Ossie Chavarria after his playing days has made an impact with his umpiring skills representing Canada at International Tournaments. Steve Boros was a manager and a coach.
