50 years ago Brooks Robinson was a Mountie

In 1959 Brooks Robinson was sent down to Vancouver Mounties to get more experience. With Vancouver was Wayne Causey who the Baltimore Orioles signed in 1955 as a higher thouht of prospect for 3rd base than Robinson. Robinson sustained an injury during a play at Capilano Stadium that almost ended his caeer. Robinson was able to recover from the injury and rejoined the Orioles after the All Star break.
