Gregorio Petit put for Assignment

2004 Vancouver Canadian, Gregorio Petit was placed for assigment by the Oakland A's.  This means that for the next 72 hours Petit can be signed by another Major League team.  Oakland had completed at thrade and signed a free agent thus they had to reduce their roster back to 40.
