Greg Desme was a Vancouver Canadian in 2007 and in 2009 was the MVP of the Arizona Fall League. On January 22, 2010 Desme announced to the world his intentions to leave baseball to follow his calling to become a priest.
Desme was the 2nd rpond draft pick of the Oakland A's and very highly regarded as to his chances to become a Major Leaguer.
