One of my favorite players for the Vancouver Mounties was Howie Goss. Goss played from 1960 -1961 for the Mounties. Goss had both great speed as well as power. I remember his towering home runs but he did strikeout alot.
Howie had a short Major League career playing for 89 games the Pittsburgh Pirates and 133 games for the Houston Colt 45's.
The Pirates traded Goss for Manny Mota which I beleive Houston regretted later.
