C's win final But Aquasox perform triple play

The final game of the season Sunday September 6th saw the Vancouver Canadians defeat the Everitt Aquasox 6-4.
Prior to the start of the game Jim Byrnes sang the US National Anthem " Star andd Stripes" then the Vancouver Canadians coaches and players sang O Canada which the fans loved. The C's were lead by Manager Rick Magnante and it was great to see Craig Lefferts the C's pitching coach belting out the words.
In the bottom of the eighth C's Max Stassi doubled, advanced to 3rd when the Aguasox 3rd baseman Billingsly committed an error on a ball hit by Ryan Ortiz. The Aquasox Billingsly had just moved from SS to 3rd. Myrio Richard grounds into a triple play, third baseman Ben Billingsley to second baseman Kevin Mailloux to first baseman Blake Trinkler. Max Stassi out at home. Ryan Ortiz out at 2nd.
Thus Billingsly redeamed himself.
